About the project
It is a Slovenian national holiday, Resistance Day, which up until 1992 was called the Day of the Liberation Front. It commemorates the establishment of the Liberation Front on 26. April 1941. The President of the Republic of Slovenia, The National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, The Government of the Republic of Slovenia organises with the help of the Ministry of Culture the State Celebration on the National Resistance Day.
My part of the project
I work with Tina Mrkšić who was the assistant director of the ceremony manipulating existing footage and historical images to create a fluent backdrop for the evening.
